Philippine Minimum National Social Data Set

The Philippine Minimum National Social Data Set (PMNSDS) is a core data list which is intended to help monitor the achievement of social development goals. It is based on the MNSDS endorsed by the UN Statistical Commission to all member countries after considering the major action areas identified by the International Conference on Population and Development, the World Summit for Social Development, and the Fourth World Conference on Women.

The PMNSDS aims to provide key statistics for national and international reporting and monitoring. It consists of six data items in the area of population and development, four measuring absolute poverty, four measuring productive employment and reduction of unemployment and one general measure of population disaggregated sex and age. This list of 15 main indicators is updated quarterly by the National Statistical Coordination Board.
