(Posted 19 July 2012)
The National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) has released the 2011 Statistical Indicators on Philippine Development (StatDev 2011). The StatDev is a statistical indicator system to monitor the achievements of the economic and social development goals set forth in the Philippine Development Plan 2011-2016 (PDP). It provides a comparison of actual sectoral accomplishments with the corresponding targets indicated in the PDP 2011-2016 Results Matrices for easier appreciation by planners, evaluators, and other stakeholders. Thus, StatDev 2011 highlights the performance of the sectors for the past year.
StatDev 2011 contains 186 indicators covering the nine PDP sectoral chapters. The data for 2011 were sourced from various government agencies as well as agency websites and publications.
