The National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) announces the release of the Consolidated Accounts/Income and Outlay Accounts for 2009-2011. This annual publication on the Philippine System of National Accounts (PSNA), which adopted the recommendations of the 2008 System of National Accounts (SNA), contains a set of Consolidated Accounts, which provides a summary of transactions and relationships among the various flows of the economy at current prices. The Consolidated Accounts consist of the four accounts of the nation with respect to production, consumption, capital accumulation, and economic transactions with the rest of the world:
The Income and Outlay Accounts, on the other hand, show the total income and total use of income of the four institutional sectors, namely: non-financial corporations, financial corporations, general government, and households including non-profit institutions. These transactions are linked with the Production Account and the Expenditure Account of the PSNA.
